The Farmington Valley Chapter of PACE celebrated its tenth annual house tour with by putting ten different sites on display in a single day. These sites included several large commercial properties, such as the new University of Connecticut Health Center in Farmington, the historic Collins Axe Company in Collinsville and Flamig Farm in West Simsbury. In addition, it comprised seven different homes featuring a wide range of innovative clean energy technologies. After ten straight years of house tours featuring over fifty sites, the Farmington Valley Chapter of PACE had established itself under Judi Friedman’s leadership as the most active chapter in the state. PACE was on its way to a thirty-five-year uninterrupted streak of tours, offering participants a chance to view the latest in clean energy innovations up close.
